What is an End-Of-Life (EOL) data room?
An EOL data room is the initial version of data rooms that was introduced to Digify users. These data rooms are now considered obsolete as they are using an outdated data structure. They will no longer be updated with features such as Data Room About Page, Data Room Banner and all new features in the future. It is no longer economical for us to incorporate new features into outdated code.
Your data room guests can continue to access these data rooms as your data rooms will remain active and functional.
How to update EOL data rooms
If you wish to update your EOL data rooms, simply clone the data room to the latest version with the following steps:
Select the specific data room.
On the right-hand corner, select the Settings tab.
Select the Advanced tab on the sidebar.
Click on the Clone button, then click Continue.
Set up the security settings for the new data room and click Clone data room.
Your data room will be inaccessible during cloning. Your guests and data room analytics will not be copied over to the new data room.
