Data room owners and co-owners can transfer files from an existing data room to a new one through the following steps:

1. Download the files from your existing data room by selecting that data room > click on More options > Download All Files. You will then get a zipped folder containing all the data room files.

2. Export the list of recipients to from your existing data room by selecting that data room > click on More options > Export User List. You will then get the list of all the data room recipients in an excel sheet.

3. Create a new data room with your preferred security settings. (You can follow the steps on how to create a new data room here).

4. Unzip the files (from Step 1) and upload them to the new data room. If you are uploading several files and folders in one go, it will be easier to drag and drop them into the data room.

5. Invite the recipients in the user list (from Step 2) to the new data room and assign role permissions and granular permissions for certain folders where necessary.



Note: The data room statistics from your existing data room will not be copied to the new one. If you’d like to save a copy of your data room statistics, you can export your data room activity log
