File Storage Location allows you to choose where your files are stored based on your organization’s data residency and compliance requirements.
Admins can configure which locations are available to their organization and designate a Primary location that determines how storage is applied.
Digify currently supports the following file storage locations:
USA (Default)
Canada
Australia
India
Singapore
Ireland
UK
United Arab Emirates

How to manage allowed file storage locations
Step 1: Navigate to Admin Settings under your Account.
Step 2: Under the Admin tab, expand the Allowed File Storage Locations section and select your file storage location. This location will automatically be set as the Primary location.
Step 3: (Enterprise plan only) Select one or more storage locations. Choose one location to set as the Primary location.
Step 4: Click Save changes to apply the updated settings. All new files will be stored in this location moving forward.

How to select your data room storage location

Step 1: Navigate to the Create Data Room screen.
Step 2: Find the File Storage Location field, and select the desired individual data room file storage location.
Step 3: Create the data room after you have configured the rest of your settings.
❗ Note: Once a Data Room is created, its storage location cannot be changed. |
What happens to my existing files after updating my preferred storage location
For existing files in your account, your files will remain stored in their original location and will not be impacted by this update.
For Document Security
To update the storage location for your document security files, you will need to re-upload them for it to be saved in the storage location of your choice.
For Data Room
To update the data room storage location, cloning the existing data room will allow you to select the new permanent storage location. How to clone a data room
