V26.10.1 Release Notes

Deployed: 12 October 2026

Summary

This release adds a request access flow, so recipients blocked from a protected email or file can ask the owner for access from the block screen and the owner can approve or deny it on a dedicated review page. Google Drive now auto-encrypts files when a classification label enforces it, and its protection settings line up with Gmail and the administration settings. Twelve bug fixes are included.
