Give context to data room guests using Details field
When you want to share details about a particular folder/file, you may often add detailed descriptions to the folder/file names. This limits the amount of information that can be shared and creates long file paths that cause issues during data room export.
Now, data room owners, co-owners, and contributors can add description details (up to 255 characters) to folders or individual files using the details field. This is useful for sharing the purpose of your documents with new data room guests or give a quick overview of the folder contents.
You can also easily edit the details with a few simple clicks to ensure they are updated and accurate.
Other updates
Users who have set up two-factor authentication (2FA) can now choose to have their 2FA settings saved in their browser for 30 days without having to re-enter the code.
File senders/data room owners/co-owners will now see a soft warning when print warning is enabled for their shared files/data room files/guest permissions.
The 'Contributor' permission in the data room is now renamed 'Edit'. The actual permissions remain unchanged.
