Additional Recipient Information
Additional Information Form for recipients and guests
Document security file senders can now request for additional information from their recipients before they can access the shared files
Users will have the 'Require additional information' checkbox under Access in the Send Files page to enable the inquiry form
Users can select from the following options on what information they will require from their recipients:
Email (default and always required)
Name
Phone number
Company
Job role
Required additional information pop-up will be visible on the following scenarios before they can view the file
File recipients open a file with "Require additional information" enabled
File owner views a sent file with "Required additional information" and "As Recipient"
Data room guests can now request for additional information from their recipients before they can access the data room
Users will have the Require additional information checkbox under the Access section in the Create data room and Clone data room pages to enable the inquiry form
Data rooms created before this release will have the checkbox disabled by default
Required additional information pop-up will be visible on the following scenarios before they can view the data room:
Guests enter the data room with "Require additional information" enabled
Data room owner views a data room/folder/file with "Required additional information" enabled
File owner will receive an email notification once recipient submitted the form with the entered details. Data room owner/co-owner will also receive the same notification once guests have submitted the additional information form
Hovering over the (?) icon will show the tooltip for the feature's information
Require additional information can also be added when creating Presets
The system will also remember whether "Require additional information" is enabled or not after sending the file in Send files page
MS Editing Updates
Optimized storage consumption for MS Editing
Manually uploaded versions will be immutable and will never be deleted
During simultaneous edits, the outdated/previous edited versions will be deleted except for the last edited version
Deletion is based on 30 days from the last modified date of the next version
Pricing page updates for MS Editing
Users will see a warning pop-up indicating that MS Editing is a premium feature limited to Team plans and above when they try to downgrade to a Pro plan
Pro and Legacy users will see a paywall for MS Editing when they try to create/edit/clone a data room
Updated the pricing and checkout pages to reflect MS Editing as an add-on
Users will also receive warnings if they proceeded downgrading to Pro plan via:
Downgrade email
Paywall modal
Updated actions to clearly differentiate Upload & Edit in Version history for data rooms. Users will see the following actions based on the scenarios below:
Uploaded by -- If file is added to the data room via manual upload/drag & drop/third party integration
Replaced by -- If file is replaced via manual replacement/drag & drop/restored in version history
Created by -- If file is created from Digify MS Editor
Edited by -- If file is edited via Digify MS Editor
Note: Same changes apply for version history of document security files
Added new action for exported data room activity log
Create -- User created a new blank file
Download error updates
For files that had file processing/rendering error, data room owner/co-owner/editor will see a (?) icon to show the tooltip about the error
Guests will only see a file rendering error message on the file without the tooltip
Data room owner/co-owner/editor/guest with "Download (Original)" permission who is trying to download a file with rendering error and clicked the Download via context menu, will see the Download (PDF) disabled and will only be allowed to download original
Hovering to the Download (PDF) option will show them the error tooltip
Data room owner/co-owner/editor/guest with "Download (Original)" permission who selected a file with file rendering error, will see the "Download" option on the floating menu
Same Download option applies from the floating menu when selecting multiple files with rendering error
Same Download option also applies from the floating menu when selecting multiple files with or without rendering error combined
No Download option will be available when user selects multiple files with combined file processing error and rendering error
No Download option will be available when user selects multiple files with combined file processing error and rendering error, and multiple files without errors
Data room owner/co-owner/editor will see the (?) icon for the tooltip about the file processing or rendering error in data room file version history page
Updated version history
Users will now see date and time as the reference for the file versions instead of the version number. This applies to the version history and detailed analytics pages
Version history restore pop-up is also updated to reflect the date/time of the version users are trying to restore instead of the version number

Fixed users unable to navigate to data room trashcan
Fixed file settings not reflecting properly if they update the permission from No download to Allow download
Fixed users not getting routed to the password creation page if they haven't accessed previously a data room invite
Fixed missing pages when editing and viewing the file simultaneously for docx files

UI/UX Changes
Increased transparency for the Save bar to let the users see more features below the data room settings page
Document link in document security/data room file viewer
File owners and recipients/guests will now be able to easily get the document link directly from the file viewer
From the file viewer, users can click on the (i) icon beside the filename to copy the file link
Updated Calendly Sales links to Sales HubSpot page links on the following areas in the app:

Updated behavior when downloading file with rendering error:
If a rendering errors occurs during upload, no Data Room user will be able to download anything
If a rendering error occurs after an edit is made:
Data Room users with edit permissions (such as owner, co-owner, contributor, or Download original) will still be able to download the original file but not the PDF version, as there is a rendering error.
Data Room users with lower-tier permissions (such as view, print, or download) will not be able to download the file, as the PDF version is unavailable due to the rendering error
