With Digify, you can send video and audio files securely with various security settings to discourage recipients from copying or sharing your video and audio files with unauthorized persons.

Follow these steps for our recommendations on how to set up your file's security settings to send a video file securely with Document Security.

Note: When your recipients play your video and audio files in Digify, this consumes media bandwidth. Pro, Team and Business plans include 50 GB of monthly media bandwidth quota, which is shared among all members in a team. This quota resets monthly. Learn more

Step 1: From your dashboard, click on Send Files in the left sidebar.

Step 2: Click on the Upload button to upload the video or audio file that you wish to send. Alternatively, you may drag and drop the file into the gray box.

You can also import the video or audio file directly from your cloud storage provider (Google Drive, Dropbox, Box or OneDrive).

Step 3: Set up the security settings for your video. Here's what we recommend.

Under Permission, select "No download" and "No print".

Note: We do not recommend selecting "Allow download" as Digify will not be able to protect your video or audio file after it is downloaded.

Under Expiry, we recommend that you select either:

Under Dynamic Watermark, select On. Choose your desired watermark settings.

Note: Watermarks for video and audio files will always be in the top-right corner of the video. The watermark text will not be rotated and will appear horizontally.

Step 5: Under Access, we recommend selecting either Only people I specify, Only people from domains I specify or Anyone with the link (email verification).

Step 6: Add the email addresses of the recipients you want to send the file to, and you may include an optional message.

Once done, click on Send & notify recipients to send a link to the file to your recipients via email.

Otherwise, you can click on Get link & skip notification if you want to get the link to the file to share directly with your recipients.

💡 Pro Tip: For best viewing results, we recommend that your recipients use Google Chrome to access the video or audio file.
