The File Index feature allows you to arrange the order of the files in your data room according to how you want people to view them. File Index is available for Team and Enterprise.

Enable File Index for Data Rooms

To reorder your files, data room owners would have to first enable the File Index feature upon creating a data room. After that, data room owners, co-owners and contributors will be able to rearrange the files according to index.

Alternatively, if you already have an existing data room, you can simply change the data room settings to enable File Index:

  1. Go to the specific data room
  2. Click on the More icon, last icon from the left.
  3. Select Change Data Room Settings.

   4. Navigate towards the File Index option, and click the toggle to enable File Index.


How to reorder your files with File Index

To arrange the order of the files, 

  1. Go to the specific data room
  2. Click on the More icon.
  3. Click Reorder File Index

   4. Drag to change the order of the files and click save to confirm.
