❗Note: PPAD is currently a beta feature.
A .ppad file is a protected document that ensures only authorized recipients can access it. These files are secured with Persistent Protection after Download (PPAD) , meaning they remain protected even after being downloaded.
To open a PPAD file:
Step 1: Go to http://digify.com/v on the desktop version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, and click "Continue" to install the PPAD Viewer.
❗Note: The PPAD Viewer runs directly in your browser and there’s no risk of downloading malware or unknown programs. You’re simply extending your browser’s ability to open .ppad files securely.
Step 2: If you haven’t downloaded the file yet, use the file link provided by the sender to do so.
Step 3: Locate the downloaded file on your device and double-click it to open.
💡 Tip: When prompted, select “Remember my choice for this file type: DIGIFY” to always open .ppad files with the PPAD Viewer.
