Cloud Storage Sync lets you securely sync files from your external cloud storage to a Digify data room. This allows you to manage your files in your preferred storage platform, while benefiting from Digify’s advanced security, file tracking, and access controls.

How Cloud Storage Sync works
When enabled, you can sync a specific folder from OneDrive/SharePoint, Box, Dropbox, or Google Drive to a Digify data room.
One-way sync (beta)
Changes made in your connected cloud storage will sync to Digify.
The folder’s structure and contents will appear in Digify.
You can securely share synced files through Digify using access controls and tracking.
Files synced to Digify are read-only. You must make any changes directly in your cloud storage platform.
Two-way sync (coming soon!)
Changes made in either Digify or your connected cloud storage will sync both ways.
You'll be able to edit, delete, or upload files from within Digify, and changes will reflect in your cloud storage.
You can also sync different folders to separate Digify data rooms. For example:
One data room for a client folder
Another for investor updates
This allows you to maintain separate, secure sharing environments while continuing to manage content from your cloud storage platform.
Enable/disable Cloud Storage Sync for your team
By default, Cloud Storage Sync is enabled for all team members. As an admin, you can disable this in your team’s Admin Settings if you prefer not to allow connections to external cloud storage. To manage this setting:
Step 1: Go to Admin Settings.
Step 2: Look for the Allowed Cloud Storage Sync section.
Step 3: Toggle the setting on or off as needed, and click Save.
This gives you control over whether team members can link cloud storage accounts when creating new data rooms.
❗Note: If you don’t see the option to connect cloud storage when creating a new data room, check with your team admin to enable it in Admin Settings.
