How To Install Digify for Outlook

A guide on how to install the Digify for Outlook Add-In on various supported platforms

Digify for Outlook works with your Outlook account on Outlook Web App and Outlook Desktop Client. It allows you to send email attachments securely, track file analytics and revoke file access directly from your Outlook account. 

You need an existing Digify account in order to use Digify for Outlook.

Supported Platforms

Outlook Web App (Supported Browsers):

  • The latest version of Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based), or Safari (MacOS).

For Outlook Desktop Clients: 

Outlook for Windows:

  • Outlook 2013 or a later version, running on Windows 7 or a later version.

Outlook on Mac:

  • Outlook 2016, or a later version, running the operating system OS X v10.10 Yosemite or a later version.

Installation Guides

For Outlook Web Access (OWA):

  1. Click here to access MS Appsource directly and install the Digify for Outlook Add-On. 

       OR

  1. On the compose window, click on the three-dotted icon for more options, then select Get Add-ins.

  2. In the search bar, enter “Digify” and select “Digify for Outlook”.

  3. Click the Add button to install the add-in.

For Outlook Desktop Clients:

  1. Under the Home tab, click on the Get Add-ins icon.

  2. The Office Add-in window pop-up will be shown.

  3. In the search bar, enter “Digify” and select “Digify for Outlook”.

  4. Click the Add button to install.

Note

  1. The add-in will be accessible across all supported browsers and desktop clients with your Outlook account logged in. 

  2. You will find the Digify icon in the compose window and at the top-right corner of your emails (as shown below)
