How to open the browser console for troubleshooting

When contacting Digify support to resolve an issue, you may be asked by our support team for screenshots of, firstly, your browser console information, and secondly, your network information for troubleshooting. Here's how you can retrieve the correct information necessary to facilitate this process.

Note: To help our team troubleshoot your issue effectively, please ensure that your screenshot captures the full page, and that all error messages are captured in the screenshot.

How to get your browser console information

Why we need this: The browser console provides information on webpage errors that are not visible on Digify's end.

How to do this:

  • Right-click your mouse anywhere within the web page

  • Select Inspect/Inspect Element

  • Click on Console

When taking the screenshot of the browser console, please ensure that you include all error messages you see.

Note: Please ensure that the Console tab is selected when taking the screenshot.

How to get your browser network information

Why we need this: The browser network information provides essential information on whether any internet connection issues that could have caused issues.

How to do this:

  • Right-click your mouse anywhere within the web page

  • Select Inspect/Inspect Element

  • Click on Network

After switching to the Network tab, reload the page to record the Network activity in the Network log before taking the screenshot.

When taking a screenshot of the browser network tab, please make sure to capture any errors that you may see.
