Pre-auth URL for Data Room

Skip additional logins for data rooms integrated with your site

This feature is only available for Business Plan customers with white-labelled sites and the Digify API. If you are not on a Business Plan and above, but are interested in this feature, please get in touch with your customer success manager.

Many of our customers use the Digify API to link their sites to Digify data rooms as part of their product offering (e.g. as an investor portal). Previously, these site visitors would have two login steps: once on the site, and once again to access Digify data rooms.

Pre-auth URL enables our customers to provide a seamless viewing experience for their site visitors by skipping additional login screens.

How it works

Pre-auth URLs are links that do not require guests to authenticate themselves to Digify through login, and let them bypass any account creation screens.

Access is still kept secure by tying the URLs to guests’ email addresses and browsers, and can only be generated for guests once they’ve been invited to a specified data room.

All other updates

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a File Processing Error for certain instances of users replacing files

  • Fixed a bug in unsupported file formats that allowed users to bypass Terms of Access

  • Fixed a bug with data room cloning due to data room banner uploads

  • Fixed a bug in the interaction between SSO and single active sessions

UI/UX Changes

  • We have simplified the process of adding guests as co-owners when bulk adding, by providing a direct link to the co-owner page

  • We have simplified the process of inviting non-team members when Account Admins add lists of guests

  • When non-admins add guests, they will be given the option to change permissions beforehand

  • Users will now be informed of file-processing errors when attempting to download multiple files at once
