Persistent Protection after Download (PPAD) allows files to remain protected even after they are downloaded.
These are the supported file formats/types for PPAD:
Images (.JPG, .PNG, .GIF, .BMP)
Portable Document Format (.PDF)
Document ( .DOC, .DOCX, .MOBI, .ODT, .OTT, .EPUB, .XPS)
Spreadsheet (.XLS)
Presentation (.PPT, .PPTX, .PPTM, .PPSM, .POTM, .ODP, .OTP)
Audio files (.MPEG)
Videos (.MP4, .WebM)
Private notes (.TXT)
❗Note: If your data room contains file formats that are not supported by PPAD, those files will not appear in the PPAD download.
When downloaded, files are converted into a .ppad format that can only be opened with the PPAD Viewer.
