Persistent Protection after Download (PPAD) allows files to remain protected even after they are downloaded.

These are the supported file formats/types for PPAD:

  • Images (.JPG, .PNG, .GIF, .BMP)

  • Portable Document Format (.PDF)

  • Document ( .DOC, .DOCX, .MOBI, .ODT, .OTT, .EPUB, .XPS)

  • Spreadsheet (.XLS)

  • Presentation (.PPT, .PPTX, .PPTM, .PPSM, .POTM, .ODP, .OTP)

  • Audio files (.MPEG)

  • Videos (.MP4, .WebM)

  • Private notes (.TXT)

Note: If your data room contains file formats that are not supported by PPAD, those files will not appear in the PPAD download.

When downloaded, files are converted into a .ppad format that can only be opened with the PPAD Viewer.
