Data rooms are used to keep confidential files secure. All files in a data room created via Digify are AES-256 encrypted and protected for the privacy of all data room users.

If you're invited to a data room, you will receive an email invitation from the sender.

Depending on the data room’s access setting, the email may contain either:

  • A standard invitation link (email verification required), or

  • A unique quick access link generated specifically for you

You may also receive a direct data room link shared by the sender.

How to access files in a data room as an invited guest

(A) If you received a standard invitation link

Step 1: Click the data room link or View data room button in the email.

Step 2: On the login screen, type the exact email address where you received the invitation and click Next.

Step 3: Verify your identity.

  • If you have a Digify account, enter your password and click View.

  • If you don’t have a Digify account yet, you will receive a 6-digit verification code in your email. Enter this code to verify your account.

Step 4: Activate your account by typing your name. (one-time)

Step 5: You can now view the files in the data room.

(B) If you received a quick access link

Step 1: Click the data room link or View data room button in the email.

Step 2: Your email address will be automatically recognized, and you can now view the files in the data room.

Data room permissions

When you're invited to a data room, you may also be assigned to a specific permission. If you have questions on your data room permissions, please contact the data room owner or co-owner.
