Digify has built-in digital rights management (DRM) features that can let you secure your intellectual property materials (PDFs, eBooks, training materials, market research, modules, and reports) for online selling. With Digify’s DRM, you can make sure your customers have reasonable access to your materials without losing control over them.

1. Copy Protection
Files secured via Digify are by default copy protected, which means texts cannot be selected or copied and pasted. This gives you the confidence that your content is safe from being copied and shared elsewhere. With Digify, files are accessible via our secure file viewer where right-click options are disabled.

2. Controlling Access
Files shared via Digify are accessible via a secure link which generally can be opened with any browser. Unlike some DRM solutions, if you share a file via Digify, your customers do not need to download a separate app or plug-in to access your file. 

You can control who can access your file. For instance, if you want to give access to paid customers only, you can set the Access to Only people I specify and only the email addresses you will identify will be able to view your the file. In case the file link gets shared to someone else that you have not granted access to, they will not be able to successfully view the file. 

If you wish to revoke a recipient’s access to a file, you can do so any time even after you’ve sent the file. Read more about revoking access here.

3. Sending Files
You can choose to grant access to individual files (using Send Files section in-app) or multiple files (using the Data Rooms). If you wish to grant access to an individual file, you can use the Send Files section of the Digify web app where you can make a secure link for every file you upload. 

On the other hand, if you want to give access to multiple files at the same time, you can instead create a data room (a.k.a. secure file repository online) and upload as many files into the data room as needed. With this, you only have one secure link that you can send to your customers. They can then access the data room and all the files in it through that link.

4. Tracking
Whether you’re using the Send Files section or Data Rooms section, Digify’s tracking features can let you know who viewed your files as well as the location and duration of views. You can also know how many times your files have been viewed, printed, or downloaded.

5. Automation via API
